- Long-standing member of the training and education committee of the IAAI. International lecturer in Canada, U.K., France, Spain, Belgium, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and Central and South America. Member of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Committee for Arson Control (ICAC)
- Developer of "Motive, Means and Opportunity" a full length training video that depicts a team approach to Fire Investigation from the scene to the courtroom. Developer of "interFIRE" an interactive, CD Rom virtual reality fire investigation training program in cooperation with ATF, USFA, NFPA and American Re Insurance. Member of the development committee for CFITrainer.net an IAAI program to provide distant learning opportunities to the fire investigation community.
